About Shape Shifter as Baron Num Nums
Experiment #210, also known as The Shape Shifter and voiced by Mark Hamill, is an extraterrestrial creature featured in the show "Dipper and Mabel vs. the Future". The spaceship where The Shape Shifter originated from contains mysterious writings that, when decoded, reveal that the specimen has escaped and is capable of changing forms. It is later discovered that the shapeshifter originally resided on the ship but escaped and laid an egg on earth, which was found and raised by Ford. Upon escaping from its cryogenic chamber, The Shape Shifter takes on the form of a man who advertises canned beans and tries to steal Journal 3 before ultimately being locked up by Dipper, Wendy, Soos, and Mabel. According to Journal 3, Ford initially used The Shape Shifter as a test subject for his cryogenic freezing device but grew attached to it and kept it as a pet, giving it the name "Shifty". Eventually, The Shape Shifter's behavior became more aggressive, to the point of attacking and impersonating Fiddleford. This forced Ford to freeze it in the cryogenic chamber.
